  2. “You want people to be shocked when the name comes out. You want people to go, ‘No, that would never work!’ They did that with Matt, when they announced Matt. It was, ‘He’s far too young, and he doesn’t look right. He’s got silly hair.’ You want people to go, ‘Oh, what have they done?’ And they always get wrenched out of their comfort zone, and then they find the Doctor again. And there’s such a range of what the Doctor can be.”

I realized I never actually uploaded this… I added a watermark and reduced the glare a bit in PSE, but that’s about it.

  5. “The whole point of Doctor Who is that, if you take the second letter of each of the fifty-ninth words of all the episodes over the last twenty years of broadcast and run them together backwards, the original location of the lost city of Atlantis is revealed.”

  8. 1862, near Oxford.

Charles Dodgson and his young child-friend, Alice Liddell, were having a picnic by the Isis River. They ate their meal, then Alice started making daisy chains while Charles read out Bible verses.
Suddenly, the pleasant afternoon was rudely interrupted by a resounding boom as a tall, blue box crashed into a rather large rabbit burrow, scattering the rabbits and creating a crater several yards deep. Smoke and clouds of dirt billowed out of the newly-formed tunnel entrance. Then they saw a light; the door of the box had opened.
Alice gave one look at Charles, then ran forward through the tunnel and into the box. Panicking, Charles threw down his Bible and sprinted after her.
As he approached the box, Charles slowed down. He could feel a growing sense of apprehension.
Opening the door, he found himself in a room bigger on the inside. “Imagine that!” he thought. “Now that’s an interesting concept. The proportions are all wrong!”
Soon after, he found Alice, and together they met a mad man with a crazy sense of time, an affinity for strange hats, and a love of tea and some strange sort of biscuit called a “jammy dodger.”

    And then the adventures began.
